Bonfire / Fireworks Weekend Merrixton House Farm, Stepaside, Narberth. This site has always been a favourite with WWDA members, And this weekend is a special one as it is when we are holding our Bonfire and Firework Display followed by Jacket potatoes etc in the marquee, For those members who haven’t seen our Firework Display before you don’t know what you have been missing, this truly is one weekend we guarantee you will not be disappointed.
   Postcode SA67 8PJ, Map Reference 158/149081; Take the A477 Tenby road and turn at the Ludchurch and Wiseman’s Bridge exit, DA signs will be in place. Merrixton is unusual in that there are plenty of electric hook-up’s but no toilet or washing facilities, but this never seems to bother anyone because it is such a super site. The field is level at the top (good places for motorhomes) then slopes down, but all the pitches have lovely views over Saundersfoot beach and across to Tenby and Caldey Island.
   The surrounding has to be explored, and should you not want to drive a bus will take you to the beaches and villages from right outside the site. You could always walk down to Amroth, but the climb back is a bit steep. The owners of Merrixton House are very nice and always welcome West Wales DA when we rally here.
